The row of cottages were originally built for the pilots who would navigate ships around the infamous Doom Bar and up the channel into Padstow.
With the tide in, the water gently laps at the rocks below the cottage, making it an ideal and safe place for swimming, while at low water, there is an expanse of sand for everyone to enjoy and over which can be taken the ‘direct’ walk into Padstow.
Just behind the cottage is the popular North Cornwall Coastal Path which runs along the Atlantic coastline and offers the most spectacular scenery.

The ground floor is open plan with kitchen, dining and comfortable sitting area which opens directly onto the terrace.
Upstairs there is a modern bathroom and three bedrooms that can sleep up to six people – a king, a twin and bunk beds – all with good quality bed linen. The outside building has a washroom with a shower for after a day on the beach. It also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are gardens to the front and rear of the cottage, as well as private parking for two vehicles. In the winter the cottage is very cosy with good central heating
and constant hot water.

A golden sandy beach which is part of the fabulous Camel Estuary. The nearby fishing port of Padstow has a very attractive harbour that is surrounded by shops, bars, cafes and renowned restaurants, and from here activities such as boat rides, fishing trips and cycling along The Camel Trail can be experienced.
There are two excellent golf courses nearby – Trevose and St. Enodoc – and the beautiful sandy bays of Trevone, Harlyn, Constantine, Treyarnon and Porthcothan are within easy reach for the surfers and beach lovers.
